Coding For Kids West Hartford

BASES (Before and After School Extended Services) provides state-licensed, year-round programs for elementary and middle school age children. Eagle Phase • Campers entering ninth grade in the fall after camp • 4-week program taken in either sessions 1-2 or sessions 3-4 • Course components led by our Camp Director, Aquatics Director, Ropes Course facilitators and other key camp staff • Coordinated by a specially trained counselor who acts as the Group Leader • Enrollment limited on a first-come, first-served basis by registering with the standard summer camp registration form.
The Seymour-Oxford Nursery Child Care Association was organized in 1985 to provide affordable before and after school programs for children of school age living in Seymour & Oxford while their parents are working or participating in an established training program.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: What distinguishes NCC from other computer camps is that NCC aims to teach youngsters ages 6-18 life long computer skills by providing a solid foundation in programming focusing on languages, 2D and 3D game design, applications and digital video editing.

To that end, we offer an individualized academic program, which enables students to further their academic progress by choosing a course of study that suits their personal needs and interests and allows students to hone their skills and deepen their understanding.
Assists the head teacher with the planning, implementation and evaluation of daily activities in accordance with the policies, procedures and philosophies of the YMCA Children's Center, CT State Licensing Regulations and CT Best Practice Guidelines for School Age Children, maintains high level of communication and support to staff, families and director, participates in YMCA events, maintains a professional, positive attitude, keeps current on YMCA and State Of CT professional requirements.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: A limited capacity program for children and teenagers with Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Asperger Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Shyness combines of regular camp and special counseling.

Assistants and Substitutes will assist in providing homework help and engaging children in the program's fun, interactive S.T.A.R. (science, technology, art and recreation) enrichment and Learn to code West Hartford literacy curriculum activities. Finally, learning camps are a way to combat the dreaded summer slide” or that thing where your kid gets dumber during the months they're not in school.
Campers should wear appropriate clothing for indoor and outdoor activities. On Friday, September 20, Renbrook School students, current and former faculty, parents, alumni, trustees, friends and distinguished members of the greater Capital Region officially installed Matthew R. Sigrist as the 11th Head of School.
